Brian wrote "Forbidden" and put together a studio recording, produced by Mark Addison, in the winter of 2007. Shortly thereafter, Brian and Hayes Carll penned "She Left Me For Jesus", which was awarded the AMA Song of the Year in 2008. Brian is currently living in Nashville, writing songs, and working on his second studio album.
